JASS SEA at Cross regional dialog
11 young women from South East Asia; Fitria Villa Sahara, Liana Susana Hematang, Kamilia Manaf, Niken Lestari (Indonesia), Jitlada Rattanapan (Thailand), Chan Kunthea (Cambodia), Thi Hien Nguyen (Vietnam), Yasinta Lugina Conceicao das Regras (Timur Leste), Rosana Langara (Philliphines), N Nye San Raw (Myanmar), Mullai Krishnan (Malaysia) attended a cross regional workshop organized by JASS in Cape Town from 11-13 November 2008. After the Cross Regionla Dialog then they will attend an AWID forum in Cape Town from 14-17 November. This young women group has joined the movement building institute of JASS SEA since June 2008. JASS SEA, is a new initiative to promote young feminists particularly who organize women at the grass root level, in women's movement. The JASS SEA movement building institute started with a workshop of young women in Indonesia and Timor Leste in 2007. (Nani Zulminarni, 08)
