Charlotta "Lottie" Beavers

New York
Business Analyst | ICT Consultant

Not your average ICT consultant and business analyst, Lottie is a social-justice activist who helps progressive non-profits leverage technology and the Internet to change the world. As well as JASS, she has worked with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Touchstones Discussion, and Organizing for Neighborhood Equity (ONE DC). Lottie helped build a passionate community who ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles on the AIDS/LifeCycle, to raise awareness and money for HIV/AIDS services. For these and other activist causes, Lottie draws on over a decade’s prior tech experience in Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, in analysis, management, development, quality control, and training.

Lottie has an MA in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College, a Bachelors degree in Comparative Literature and Africana and Latin American Studies from Stony Brook University. Her interests include human rights, de-incarceration, and oral history. When she isn’t busy on a computer keyboard, you can find Lottie reading, watching a movie or cooking up a storm.
